How to Manage an Excessively Crying Baby?
Breastfeeding Guidance for Mothers
-
Mother should keep the baby in a proper position and ensure
correct attachment during breastfeeding.
-
Mother should manually express colostrum to help the baby
latch on to the breast. If the baby is very fussy, a small amount of
colostrum may be given by cup feeding to calm the baby.
-
Sometimes the baby may cry or remain unsettled which can make the mother
feel frustrated and lose confidence in breastfeeding. Mothers should be
properly counselled that the baby will settle once the
milk supply increases.
