These days IVF pregnancy is common and so the incidence of twin babies is more. For the case of twin babies too, exclusive breastfeeding should be the first option.It is advisable to feed them together from both the sides or alternatively one after the other assigning one side for each baby.The milk production depends on suckling stimuli from the baby.If the baby suckles more ,the mother will produce more milk. This is the reason, if a mother has twin babies, milk production increases accordingly.
