No chest movement for respiration ,or bluish discolouration of tongue,lips.
No breathing ,severe respiratory distress with increased respiratory rate more than 60/ min with nasal flaring or chest retraction, grunting ,gasping, head bobbing.
Colour of the baby mottled, pale with or without bluish discolouration of skin, unconscious or seizure.
DANGER SIGNS/PRIORITY SIGNS:-
Refusal to feed.
Abdominal distention or bile stained vomitus.
Severe jaundice.
Severe pallor.
Bleeding from any site (apart from physiological vaginal bleed in female)
Low birth weight ( less than 1800 grams)
Large baby (weight more than 4000 grams)
Redness around umbilical area with or without pus discharge.
